Since exploding onto the sketch, improv and stand-up scene in 2003, Ron Sparks has established himself as one of Canada's best comedians.

Best known for MuchMusic’s Video on Trial and its spin-offs, Ron has many credits as a writer (22 Minutes, Little Mosque), actor (NBC's The Firm, Medium Raw) and producer (Meet the Family, This Movie Sucks!). He’s won the Tim Sims Award, a Worldfest Houston Remi Award, and a record 12 Canadian Comedy Awards in nine categories, including Best Male Stand-up.

Stand-up credits include NBC's Last Comic Standing, CBC's Halifax & Winnipeg Comedy Festivals, Just For Laughs (Toronto Homegrown Champion), Comedy Network’s Naughty & Nice Specials, and his own multi-award winning CTV Comedy Now! special. On the radio his Newsdesk with Ron Sparks aired weekly on The Edge and he’s a regular and favourite guest on CBC’s Debaters, for which he also writes.
